What to expect from your treatment, and how the sessions work.
Your treatment
Your initial reflexology session starts with a consultation: walking through a series of health, lifestyle and medical history questions; discussing what you’d like to get from reflexology; and answering any questions you may have. After ensuring you’re comfortable, I’ll clean you feet (or hands) and carry out a full investigatory treatment to help identify any areas of the body that may be out of balance. This allows me to create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your specific needs for future sessions, which can be adapted based on how you present/what I find during a treatment.

Payment & policies
Payment is taken in advance for treatment packages, or at the end of each session. Payment can be made via Bank Transfer or Cash.
As a full member of The Association of Reflexologists if you are a member of a UK cash plan for healthcare you may be able to claim for the cost of your reflexology treatment. Please contact your private healthcare provider to discuss your plan cover.
Cancellations. If you are unable to make a previously arranged appointment, I request that you provide me with at least 24 hours notice to allow me the option to re-book the time slot with someone on the waiting list. Less than 24 hours notice may result in a fair-use fee of 50% as per Barefoot Reflexology’s terms and conditions.
Please note that:
- My treatment room is located on the first floor, accessed only via stairs which unfortunately is not suitable for clients with limited mobility or wheelchair users.
- I use a zero gravity treatment chair which has a maximum equipment safe working load of 22 stone (approx. 140 kg).
